The 1st Annual 2017 Veterans Expo will be held at the Holiday Inn–Downtown in Rochester, New York on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. The day will be filled with activities specifically for veterans, veteran business owners, active duty members, Reservists and National Guard. The Veterans Business Council will kick off the day by hosting their annual Veterans Business Expo and Matchmaker event to be followed by their Veteran Business Awards luncheon. LawNy and the Monroe County Bar Association will host an all-day Valor Day Legal Fair. The Monroe County Veterans Service Agency will be available to offer information on a number of veterans services and benefits throughout the day. Lastly, the Veterans Outreach Center, Inc. will be ending the day with the hosting of their annual Veterans Job Expo. For additional information on these events please contact:

Now in its 16th year, The Veterans Job Expo remains the largest veteran specific jobs event of its kind in New York State. The event is free to veterans, active duty military personnel, National Guard, Reservists and military spouses. 70 employers and training facilities will be participating and will be focusing on opportunities in the following industries: Advanced Manufacturing, Healthcare, Information Technology, Warehousing, Transportation, Security, Food Service & more. All job seekers are expected to come dressed for success, have plenty of resumes on hand and have either a DD2-14 or Veteran/Military ID for identification.
